All sizes of the Tasmanian Devil swim in this erratic manner and this is the reason the lures are so effective.

The lure works best rigged with a single or double hook rig, although a treble hook is sometimes used,
use either a through wire connection or pass the monofilament leader through the body and tie directly
to the swivel/hook rig.
Rigging using this method prevents fish from throwing the hook as both methods allow the lure body to
slide up the line away from the fish.

Regardless of the species that is targeted, the Tasmanian Devil qualifies as an all-round lure.
