Sierra 18-5897 Temperature Sender

Sierra 18-5897 Temperature Sender.

A temperature sender in a boat measures the heat level of the engine cooling system or block. It changes electrical resistance as the temperature rises and sends that continuous data signal to a dash gauge. This lets the operator monitor engine warmth in real time and catch cooling failures before damage happens.
