To determine the appropriate cable length, follow these steps:
– Measure from the control along an unobstructed cable routing to the centre of the outboard.
– Ensure a minimum bend radius of 8 inches is maintained.
– Add four feet to allow for a loop that provides unrestricted engine movement.
– Round up to the next whole foot.
– Select the corresponding cable part number, where the last two digits indicate the cable length in feet.
